Safety warnings and health advisory
Any engine-powered lawn and garden maintenance equipment with a seized engine due to poor storage conditions can benefit from Engine Release.
(How much per hour does your local lawn mower engine repair shop charge? $50+ probably!)
Engine Release also works on:
For home and garden applications, we recommend ONE KIT per seized small engine repair project.
Cars,
motorcycles, light trucks
and off-road vehicles
For all inline automotive seized engine projects, including motorcycle engine repair, use HALF A KIT per cylinder.
For freeing a seized engine in an ATV, skidoo, dirt bike etc., we also recommend HALF A KIT per cylinder.
V-style engines powering cars and light trucks require HALF A KIT per cylinder if the engine is out of the vehicle, or ONE KIT per cylinder if the engine is still in the vehicle.
For seized marine engine repair projects, including two-stroke engine repair and four-stroke engine repair for outboard motors, we recommend ONE KIT for engines of less than 25 HP.
Use HALF A KIT per cylinder for engines above 25 HP.
Inline gas and diesel inboard motors require HALF A KIT per cylinder.
For V-style engines, you'll need HALF A KIT per cylinder if the engine is out of the boat and ONE KIT per cylinder if it’s still on board.
Agricultural equipment, including seized engines in tractors, combines, and swathers require HALF A KIT per cylinder for inline gas engines and ONE KIT per cylinder for inline diesel engines.
V-style gas or diesel engines require HALF A KIT per cylinder if the engine is removed from the machine and ONE KIT per cylinder if the engine is still in the unit.
Engine Release is not just for saving small engines. It works in all industrial and construction applications.
For inline gas engines, we recommend HALF A KIT per cylinder.
For inline diesel engines, we recommend ONE KIT per cylinder.
For V-style gas or diesel engines in construction or industrial machinery, we recommend ONE KIT per cylinder if the engine is still in the machine, or HALF A KIT if it’s been removed from the machine.
